Weekly Kids Activities Newsletter:
Christmas gifts kids can make
Hi. It’s Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com.
Merry Christmas! There's still some time left to do a quick activity with your kids to make a special gift for someone special.
This week's newsletter contains 5 activities that you can do with your kids, and at the end you’ll get a Christmas gift for your friends or family.
Star Christmas tree ornament made from sticks
I really like activities where you don't have to buy too many supplies, you rather use what's available.
In this kids activity your kids will have fun making gorgeous stars for your Christmas tree, and you can help them as they need it.
Reverse Fingerprint Christmas Tree Cards
This art activity is great for kids of all ages - it will keep them busy, and you get a keepsake for friends and family.
It's fun to watch the shape of the tree form as you peel off the shape.
Salt Dough Handprint Ornaments Gift
I like the idea of making beautiful DIY ornaments for the Christmas tree every year.
If you include hand print crafts you can see how your kids have grown each year.
Ingredients:
4 cups of flour
1 cup salt
Water to mix
Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix Gift
My kids love to help in the kitchen, and to make gifts for special persons.
In this activity they get to make a hot chocolate mix for Christmas presents.
Ingredients:
3.5 cups sugar
2.25 cups Cocoa powder
1 tablespoon pink salt
Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of mixture per glass of hot milk
Reindeer Candy Bar Wrappers Gifts
This DIY Christmas gift is festive and a thoughtful gift from kids.
Older kids can decorate the bars on their own and younger kids can help you.
