Activity For Kids:

Reindeer Candy Bar Wrappers Gifts

This DIY Christmas gift is festive and a thoughtful gift from kids.

Older kids can decorate the bars on their own and younger kids can help you.

This activity is inspired by ideas from Reindeer Candy Bar Wrappers Gifts.

This activity is great to teach your kids:

Fine motor skills involve movement of the smaller muscle groups in your child's hands, fingers, and wrists.

Developing fine motor skills will help your child to write and prepares her for school. But it will also help your children with everyday tasks like eating, and dressing themselves.

Creative activities help children express themselves and create something from nothing, explore materials and activities and use their imagination.

Colour recognition activities helps children get to know the different colors and color blending and matching.

Step 1

From the paper bags, cut out reindeer ears

Step 2

From the wrapping paper, cut out small rectangles for the bow ties

Step 3

Add all the supplies to the table and invite your kids to play

Step 4

Wrap each chocolate bar in the paper bag seal with tape

Step 5

Help your kids glue on the ears, eyes, pom pom nose, bow ties and antlers and draw a mouth.

You can use a glue stick but a cool glue gun will give better results

Activities that has a specific outcome like this one is a bit frustrating to me to do with kids since I want it to look a certain way. My tip for you is to let go of preconceived notions of what it should look like and let your kids decorate any way you choose. If you want it to look like reindeer make one yourself and communicate clearly to your kids what you want them to look like.

Reindeer Candy Bar Wrappers are a fun and easy gift for kids can make and give to teachers, neighbors, and friends this holiday season.
