Weekly Kids Activities Newsletter:
Activities to help your child make better decisions...
Hi. It’s Sumari from EasyHealthyKids.com.
Yesterday, I read that an adult makes an estimated 226 decisions about food, and more than 35000 decisions in total, per day.
So, it's important to practice making decisions, and keeping kids' thinking sharp, and this week’s activities will do that.
These activities will make your children think, and make decisions, which are important skills for everyone to develop.
Rainbow rice writing tray
This activity is another way of using rainbow rice, and it helps kids practice their pre-writing skills.
Color hunt for kids
This activity is educational, fun, cheap and gets your kids moving and away from screens.
Plus they help tidy the house!
Shape cardboard roll painting
I always have cardboard rolls and paint in the home and that’s all this activity needs!
It’s also a very simple educational activity, because it teaches shapes and colours.
Shape match post it note activity
This activity is easy enough for younger kids to do, since shape matching is not that difficult.
Plus it’s a great activity for me because it uses items that I have in the house, plus it is a great way to use up old paper shopping bags (I use them instead of butchers paper).
Do you have any great recipes or fun activities that you want to share? Let me know by replying to this email.
Talk to you next week.
