Our favorite "unusual" playdough recipes

Imagine you have to eat the same thing every day. It can become pretty boring pretty quickly.

The same is true if you give your kids the same playdough with the same tools. Yes the color might differ but it's still like having the same meal everyday.

Some of our favorite playdough recipes are unusual and fun. Make it from jello or drink mix or pudding. Its almost as fun to make as it's to play with. Boredom busted.

I like how when you add different colors and flavors of drink mix, you get very interesting and yummy smelling playdoughs.

I also think it's great to sometimes make 5 different colors of playdough instead of one or two.

This is such a fun recipe to make and play with. You can add a bit more water to change the texture, or you can take the play outdoors and add much more water to make it more slimy.

This jello playdough looks so vibrant and smooth, and it is a fun alternative to traditional playdough.

Just keep a few jello packages in your house, and you can make different colors of Jello playdough as needed!

I love making different types of playdough and my kids love playing with it.

This cake mix playdough is great for a tea party or with cookie cutters.
